Physiotherapy
The physiotherapy department provides conservative and perioperative care for our inpatients through individual and special physiotherapy and electro-physiotherapy treatments.
Physiotherapy is an elemental part of our complex treatment of spinal disorders with the physician and physiotherapist working closely together for the betterment of the patient.
The Department has more than ten years of experience in spine care and the staff of ten physiotherapists and two masseurs, is dedicated to providing a high level of musculoskeletal treatment to its patients (English, German, Spanish is spoken). An individual and personalized activity program is worked out to restore the spine's functional capacity, that is, increase its range of movement and strength and endurance of the supporting muscles. With the regular practice of the special training exercises taught here, the patients have the possibility of reaching the level of improvement that would make daily activities (i.e., work, sport and leisure time) symptom free.
