Of all our clinics, the Musculoskeletal Clinic has the largest patient flow with more than ten thousand examinations and treatments per year. Mostly of these patients arrive with spine complaints but other musculoskeletal problems (i.e., general orthopedics, traumatology) cannot be discounted.  Thus, these outpatient clinics also cover our entire inpatient care spectrum from degenerative spinal diseases to the examination of all the general orthopedic problems.
Most of our patients come with cervical or lumbar spine complaints.  We endeavor to find their origin and refer them to the proper specialists.  Should the clinical symptoms and the diagnostic examination results show the need for surgery, then it is here that we schedule hospital admission, take care of all pre-surgery preparations in order to ensure that all proceeds smoothly and the planned operation is successful.  Should the results indicate that the treatment required is non-surgical, we refer the Patient to the proper institution for conservative/rheumatological treatment in order to allow the treatments to begin as soon as possible.

State-of-the-art diagnostic equipment - digital x-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI scans - are available on site making it possible for us to obtain immediate results as to the cause of our patients' complaints or, if other examinations (i.e., complete body bone scintigraphy, osteoporosis measuring, tec.) are necessary, we refer them to other institutions.
