Radiology

The Radiology Department began operating at our Királyhágó Street address on February 1, 2005.  The state-of-the-art technology equipment includes a direct digital x-ray system (Swissray), ultrasound machines - the top-category Voluson 730 Expert 3D-4D and the medium category HITACHI 525 - as well as MRI and CT scanners which, together with the densitometer, make complete diagnostic examinations of musculoskeletal illnesses possible on site.

The images and data can be stored with the help of the RIS-PACS Administration system to be retrieved at a later date at the request of the clinical doctor or the patient.  The highly skilled staff has made it possible for us to represent numerous radiological profiles and cover the following areas:

  • General radiology, x-ray evaluation, contrast material examinations
  • Pediatric Radiology
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology ultrasound
  • Musculoskeletal ultrasound
  • Biopsies

The Radiology Department is under contract with the Hungarian National Health Insurance Service making it possible for our patients to receive x-ray and ultrasound examinations free of charge with a doctor's referral.  X-ray and ultrasound examinations are available between 8 am and 7 pm. An appointment is necessary for the ultrasound.
